“Never bend your head always hold it high. Look the world straight in the eye”. This quote by Helen Keller reminds me about the life lesson of always listen and never get too cocky, Especially when I wrecked my fourwheeler with my cousin and almost severely injuring both me and him. In addition it was the worst and scariest day of my life.
So what exactly happened on that horrible day? What happened was I tried to climb a steep hill and my cousin was toward the front. But I was driving and as we got to the top we started to see sky and I watched in horror as the fourwheeler flipped over me and landed on my cousin. Luckily, one of my dad’s buddy’s wife was a registered nurse and was able to calm us down.
But luckily both me and my cousin were alive, he was pretty banged up and when we took him to the hospital and where he was fortunately bruised and was wanting to get back on the fourwheeler the next day.  what ended up being the worst day ever ended up making me have smarter choices and be a better person
It was hard to deal with knowing I had hurt my cousin. we all called and checked on him, there was no therapy necessary. with a couple of doctor visits he was back at home that next day and he wanted to put his dad’s fourwheeler away that evening.  When we visited him he was tired and looked rough, but he was well. Even better he was playing football several weeks later.

This wreck really impacted my life and for weeks after I felt really bad but all in all what started as the worst day of my life ended. and it was  really useful lesson learned and ever since if I come to a hill I am uncomfortable with. and now it has been 2 months since the accident and I am now more smarter and have more experience behind the wheel of my four wheeler.
