The Last Time We Knew
A kiss. Which ran shivers through my core. Static along my skin. After such torment wait and angst. Those lips touched mine again and the passion of a love so strong so iron willed, burned hot in my chest. My eyes locked on his full of question, wonder, doubt, fear, excitement, and a lust for companionship in one who knew me best. One who shaped me when I was rough. And he looked back, admiration. We sat and talked and went inside to talk more. Sitting on a rug hidden amongst mailboxes. I asked and he answered....and the world exploded into tendrils of pure bliss. We gripped each other and held on. Laughing basking in the beauty of the emotions we felt. The love burning for each other. The lust for one's bodies tucked away together gripping in the darkness. And we laid and looked at each other. And that day was one of the best of my entire life. Your glow of joy as you realized the truth within you. My utter disbelief for a dream I'd never thought to be mine again. I love you.
