Description of a Lost or Forgotten Object

Glittery, tiny, uniquely-shaped, and plastic. A symbol of both beauty and innocence tossed down the gutter one November afternoon; a funny prank by a 5th grade boy. To a seven year old girl, this act seems down-right tragic, despicable, and cold-hearted. Yet, eight years later, that same little girl and boy, would look back on this and only think of it as childish. At this moment, the high-heel of one of my most beloved dolls is probably resting in a city dump among the misplaced or overlooked possessions of others.
