Darkness to Light
No one has your back. Nobody has a shoulder for you to cry on because they already have the weight of their own problems balancing on their shoulders. When you talk, no one listens, but the empty walls around you. No one cares how messed up you are, except for you. Only you. Because you create this darkness that your light is hiding behind. You hope someone will shine some light on you, but you rain on your parade. If you can except things the way they are, there won't be darkness. You will absorb all the light you can because that's what we all thrive for, but are too scared to try.
