The Eternal Past
Senior year, a time when a high-schooler’s entire life is in a transition phase. Friends disappear, relationships deteriorate, and anticipation rises. All look towards that single day, seemingly unreachable at the beginning of the year. Curiosity grows about what the next year in life will be like, new connections are made to new people from far away places. But still, those you were once close to stay in your mind. Those last four years will forever be burned into the mind, never to be forgotten. Every good, bad, or reckless decision ever made lives on in the mind, shaping the path of life ahead. Some will choose college, some will give their lives for the country, others will live their dreams, but no matter what path is taken, the past will always live on.
