Hockey Game

Skates slice the ice making marvelous music. Speed intensifies, and the wind wipes my face. My cheeks turn cherry-red. My heart pumps, my adrenaline races, and my sweat runs. The game has begun.
Down in the offensive zone, the puck comes towards me. I lungfor it in hopes of keeping it in the zone. Oh no. The opposing team took it and heads towards my net. I chase it down. Reaching it, we fight over the puck. I win. Pushing it back up the ice, my offensive takes it past the center line…blue line…shots and score. YES!
