Future self
To my future self,
As of April 19, 2024, I am 155 lbs and my goal is to reach 145 lbs. By actively working out, taking creatine, and running everyday, I plan to reach this goal by June 1st.
My WAC membership card reminds me of this goal and the expectations I have set upon myself. When I walk inside the WAC, the atmosphere is cold. The black carpet, black machines, as well as the dim light, helps me build a powerful mentality. This has helped me from taking steps backwards.
Many times in the past I have taken steps backwards when striving to reach a goal. For example, I overeat when I tell myself to eat less. To combat this, I have decided to count calories using an app on my iphone.
Ultimately, this letter is a reminder to stay consistent. I will exceed expectations I have set upon myself.
