100-Word Story
100-Word Story
I lean in closely, squinting my eyes, as I watch
11:12
turn
into
11:13.
The black words glowed in the darkness, of what made up the most pronouns I’ve ever put in a science paragraph. It was a MESS. With every pronoun I wrote, my angered eyes shed more blood. All of a sudden, my brain erupted like I was an angered God. Magma and frustration poured all over my bedroom floor as I, spitting out cuss words, punched right through my bed mattress. The gutsy wool sticking to my arms had been soaked in my red frustration.

This is just a little piece of writing that I thought I would share. This story is exactly 100 words and the purpose is to exaggerate what really happened. I wasn't actually spitting cuss words. My brain didn't actually erupt. Magma and blood didn't litterally pour all over my floor. This was all exaggeration, and it showed that I was pretty mad at that moment.
Before the rage, I was doing an essay for science class. One rule to this essay was that I wasn't allowed to use pronouns. This got me really ticked off, and I was just staring at the time on my computer for half an hour. When I went insanely crazy, it was clear I wasn't going to be a very successful scientist. One reason it was so hard for me is because I was so used to writing stories in first person point-of-view. The other reason, I was just super tired and needed some sleep.
