The Ride
All I see is green. Green, speeding past me. The gravel beneath me kicks up, as the motorcycle turns the corner. The orange sky, which is now turning black, tells me its sunset. The trees, with thick branches and vibrant green nettles, stand in the middle of the loop. My mom’s side of the family, which I mostly don’t see, cheers for me on the side of the road. The brown of the cabin, which is starting to fade, blends in with the surrounding background.
