Somedays I want to curl up in a ball and cry like there's no tomorrow. Then other times I see the wonders in life and smile like it's my favorite. I will always miss you and your sweet amber eyes, the warmth of your touch and the times, good and bad that we had together.
Some might think about a boyfriend, but truely I am thinking about someone who "hold our hands for a little while,but hold our hearts forever"...My Grandma...my hero.

The author's comments:
This piece I wrote and presented was about my Grandma who passed away from lung cancer. It was unexpected and really fast. She was the one who basically raised me until me and my mom moved out and was always there for me.
