My Father
If you asked me what a father is I would say someone who completes the other half of who you are the way a mother completes the first half. So you know who you are. But if you ask me who my FATHER is I’d say a man who makes you feel at home whether you know him or not. A man who is not afraid of farting on his daughter’s birthday or talking loud in a movie theater. A man that is as normal as you and I. A man who found himself 39 years into his life. But when he talks to you and you look him in the eyes you can feel his soul in every word. And all good is coming you can feel GOD Himself there as if he’s talking through him. And that feeling is indescribable. And I will cherish every moment I am with him. Because I love him and every inch, every centimeter, every millimeter in my body attracts to him.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. . .And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. - excerpts from 1 Corinthians 13:4-13
