My Grandma
One person that is really impactful in my life is my Grandma. Even though I live with my parents and they were there for me everyday growing up, my Grandma raised me. She moved in to live with us when I was two, along with my Great Grandma, and my Grandpa. My Grandma would babysit me every single day and take me to do lots of activities all the time. My Grandpa got Alzheimers, and my Grandma’s friend, Judy, Moved in with us.
Judy had two little poodles, Oliver and Dolly. Oliver was a gray dog and Dolly was white. I liked oliver more because he looked like the color of blueberry waffles. Judy lived with my Grandma and I spent a lot of time with her too, because she was usually around. Her and my Grandma would play games together a lot. They would play card games together, like rummy and “Beat your buddy”. They would also play computer games, like this one website called pogo. My Grandma would let me play this game sometimes where there would be this cactus that would shoot bubbles, and if you match them up, the bubbles would pop. One thing that I remember the most about Judy is that she had a minifridge in her room, and she would give me and my brother orange crush soda, and it was delicious. Judy Moved out a few years ago, and passed away about a year after she moved out.
My Grandma would always take me to lots of fun places. We would frequent Playtime Party Center, Zachary’s Playground, and the driving range. One time she took me and my siblings to her condo at the Lake of the Ozarks. On the drive down we stopped at a store, and me and my brother both got a WWE Network Magazine that were always our favorite, My sister got some girly magazine. While we were at the lake, we had a ton of fun. One of the biggest things I remember from going to the lake, and everytime my Grandma would go was this oil she would get.
Every wednesday my Grandma and I would watch Survivor. I would usually take a shower or bath at her house, and then she would put the oil on me and then we would go watch Survivor. We would make a bag of popcorn and put it in a big metal bowl. She always treats me with kindness, and I have so many memories with her.
My Grandma gave me lots of memories that I will remember forever. She raised me and I will always be thankful for the time that she spent with me. She was always there for every school event and every birthday, everything. I will always cherish the memories I have with her.
