My grandpa Henry got into some fun trouble as a kid here are a few stories 

My grandpa shot out his neighbor's window with a bb-gun. Before they could run away, the angry neighbor came out and ripped into them. This ended up causing them to buy and install an entirely new window. Henry’s parents were not happy, but they used it as a lesson for Henry, not only in being a good handyman, but in making his mistakes right. 

Henry's father loved to smoke cigars after a hard day of working as a cattle buyer. Henry decided to mess with his father by infusing small firecrackers into his fathers cigar. He put one in the front so when Henry's father lit the cigar it would give a little pop.Then Henry put the firecrackers at the way end of the mouthpiece and boom goes the cigar .Ash was everywhere and tobacco bits were all over Henry's father's hair and face. Clearly, his dad was not happy with him and Henry had to spend weeks only going to school and home. Never again did Henry mess around with his dads stuff.

After listening to some of the crazy childhood stories that my grandpa had, I felt like back when he was a kid, it was a simpler time. There was less social need to be like everyone else and kids were allowed to just be kids. I feel like today, everyone is rushed into adulthood by the media they watch and what the world has changed to become. Hearing these stories made me really glad that I am close to someone that has been able to live through this time.
