Have you ever used a print textbook and couldn`t find exactly what you were looking for or lost your assignments and had to restart? If your answer is yes, then you know what a hassle it is to re-create all your hard work. That’s where technology can help. Tablets are much better than print textbooks because, tablets are much more handy/useful and have more sources you can go to than print textbooks do.

Tablets are much more convenient to use than print textbooks are. For example, tablets can hold hundreds of textbooks on one device plus homework, quizzes, and other files. (ProCon Pro 4) This means that, tablets save schools billions of dollars because, they cost less money. In the end, tablets are way more convenient than print textbooks.

Tablets have much more sources available for you to go to than print textbooks ever will. For example, tablet contain many technological features that could never be found in print textbooks, such as, search functions, built-in-dictionary, interactive diagrams, and videos. That useful information confirms, that tablets have way more sources than print textbooks do because, have search functions and all that stuff and print textbooks don`t. In addition, tablets better customize student learning such as, letting teachers have the ability to tailor student learning to an individual style/personality instead of using one kind of learning style. (ProCon.org Pro 11) That important information proves, that tablets have sources for students, and teachers to use, which means, that it makes teaching and learning a little easier for students, and teachers. In conclusion, tablets have way more sources to go to than print textbooks do.

It's true that experts have clarified that technological devices including tablets have associated with a range of health problems like, computer vision syndrome which causes eye strain, headaches, blurred vision, and dry eyes, tablet may also cause, musculoskeletal disorders like carpal tunnel syndrome, neck pain, shoulder pain, fibromyalgia. However, print textbooks are much harder on the body. Pediatricians and chiropractors also, recommend that students carry less than 15% of their body weight in a backpack but the weight of all your textbooks goes past the percentage at nearly all grade levels. During 2011-2012 more than 13,700 kids, aged 5 to 18, were treated for backpack related injuries. Those important details prove, that tablets come in way handier than textbooks do because, some families don`t have a lot of money and it would make it harder on them if they had to pay for a hospital bill.

In conclusion, tablets come in much more handier and have more sources then print textbooks ever will. Tablets prevent student from losing work, getting injured, and makes getting work done easier. Students, teachers, and parents will have easier life`s if tablets are stocked in every school.
