faith
saint peter found 3 men a brisk at the door of heaven
he sat down to judge them and found in his gavel justice
the first man explained knowing what had befallen him had started to explain what befell him
"i was a good man, a father, and a husband"
peter saw through, into him, and saw that we was a drunk and an abuser
peter spoke: "leviticus 6:3-6"
the next man said
"i was a good man, i enjoyed my work, and my job protected the innocent"
peter saw through, into him, and saw a soldier who over stepped boundaries,
doing crimes no society would permit on its soil.
peter said "genesis 18:25"
the final man said nothing
peter saw through, into him, and saw a man from the wild, who killed to feed
as god intended, who with his faults lived as a good man.
the first man said
"curse you and your god, i was a good man" and walked toward the now shining gates behind peter
the man had suddenly started walking the other way looking bewildered, not remembering turning around
and in his haste, he could not stop the stride he was at, falling through the first gate at which flames licked the ground
the last man was guided hand in hand by peter to the pearly gate
but....what of the other man, you ask? alas you are right 3 came in and 2 so far in my story have walked out
well, the thing is this man was the first to do what he did or say what he said, but as god is now, and forever, he knew
"i wish....to repent"
peter had not looked up at this man but stood again at his alter like a statue.
the tip of his quill then pointed towards a table.
there was wine and bread, and the man not knowing what to do, ate.
there before him, after the smallest of the meal had been eaten, was a door
and he pushed it open.
"ask and you shall receive" peter said his voice dim, but a smile creeping upon him

Honestly Dude, you are so a poet. Stick to that. You're good at writing, but you write like a poet, and you probably write really good poems. (I haven't read any of your other work.)
I just want to point out that it will be God himself judging, because no one else is perfect.
i usually stick to poetry but i hope you dont see why in this piece
anyway enjoy, hurl, jump in a pit, as long as you react, the piece has done its job. i hope it does put something in your heart though...
