Untitled MAG
Under the wrinkles lies a smooth young face,
Beneath the stiffened joints are hands of grace.
Hidden by a shield of gray,
Beautiful locks of golden curls lay.
Inside the dark apron, so in need of a press,
Is a youthful girl in a pretty sundress.
What are now distorted, crippled feet,
Used to be scuffed sneakers playing in the street.
Deep within is a hidden voice,
That used to laugh, sing, and rejoice.
Some may appear ugly, fragile, and thin,
But all real beauty lies deep within.
