One day I was sitting at the house when my mom asked if I wanted to go to Killen,Alabama to Arx Mortis. I was ecstatic, because I had been asking since last year to go to this scary place. I then told my mom, ‘’Yes,’’ and i then got ready to go to Killen.                                                                   
  Once we got to Killen we went and ate at Outback Steakhouse. When we got to the restaurant we were greeted by some lovely owners and servers. Our server was very friendly and even carried on a conversation with us, after she got our drinks and order she brought us our food. I got a caesar salad, and mom let me eat some of her fish tacos. Once we left, we  then headed to Arx Mortis.                                                                                                                                     
   We got to Arx Mortis we were amazed at how many people were waiting just to get in. We then met with a worker and they told us that it would be a 2-3 hour wait standing in the cold unless we bought the tickets online or upfront for $40 so we decided to buy the tickets online.  We then got in the online line and waited for 2 hours just to get our tickets outside freezing to death. While waiting in line to get our tickets i saw a rat man, a clown, a butcher, and a man named sparky. I got pictures with everyone other than the butcher and sparky because they looked really scary. We finally made it inside out of the cold and got our tickets. We then got to go back until they called the color of our ticket back which was purple so then all of the people with a purple ticket went into the scary manner. We made our way back and then split into groups of 10. Throughout the manner i saw a walking dead scene, a funeral, a cremation, a butcher area ,a clown room, and an insane asylum.
   I loved it. It was very fun, and amusing. I think that Arx Mortis was great other than when the scary people jumped out at me, followed me, or acted like they were going to touch me. I am so glad that i got to go to Arx Mortis and i cannot wait until next year when we go again.
