As years go on rap never changes but Childish Gambino always find a way to put his own twist on it. Even though Childish Gambino has made some serious mistakes in his life he will always be forgiven from the audience of people who listen to his songs. He is at the age of 31 he has been nominated for over 3 Grammys. He has released four albums and he has had songs in those albums make it to iTunes top 5. But overall he had to start somewhere and this is where he starts.
Childish Gambino also known as Donald McKinley Glover Jr. was born in in Edwards Air Force base in California.

Glover eventually moved to Stone Mountain, Georgia where he was raised for most of his life. His parents always knew he was kind of a trouble maker, he would get in fights and he would do many illegal things like drugs and drink alcohol underage. Even though he did these things he was never considered a bad child to his parents because he was able to maintain a great grade point average. He did a lot of bad things in his life, considering he did get arrested a few times and he was caught a few times doing things that he was not supposed to do that did not change his path to success. When he graduated high school he applied for New York University’s Tisch School of the arts where he graduated with a degree in dramatic writing. I believe that is when he knew that he wanted to become a writer and or rapper.

As soon as he got out of college he moved to New York where he became one of the head writers of 30 Rock.  But he is probably best known for his role in the television shows Community where he played Troy Barnes. Glover signed his first record contract to Glass note Records in 2011 and soon after that he released his first album Campfire. Up to today he is still being recognized for that single album because of the style that he put on the words and the meanings of each song. That album was nominated for a Grammy and so was his second album Because The Internet. Because the Internet included an iconic song called 3005. I believe 3005 started all the madness in the rapping world and I believe that song put him where he is now.
Quoting another rapper Drake “started from the bottom now we are here” I believe that quote represents his life. He has made many mistakes in his life but he found a way to get back up. And through his life he got from not being known by anyone to being known by almost everyone. And look at him now he has made millions of dollars off a talent he had.
