An Anecdote
“Be what ever you want to be, don’t let anyone or anything stop you, not even yourself.” Said my grandfather as I remembered all the fawned memories. That day at the nursing home my grandpa was in the middle of Chemo. Therapy. I felt like I was literally watching him slip away, it turns out I was. The main thing I will never forget is him holding my hand and looking me square in the eyes and saying “Don’t worry, I’ll be ok.” Even though he knew he wouldn’t be okay. So I will admire him for his bravery now, and always.
