Why does Tumwata need lockers? Tumwata needs lockers because kids have to carry around instruments, backpacks, and lunches. While it is true that lockers can be expensive, TMS should install them because kids can store their stuff, kids can use this as a time to socialize in between classes, and the school can make more money.   

Firstly, TMS should install lockers because it can hold kids' stuff for them. People have to carry their instruments to every class and around the whole day, you could forget your instrument in classes or other places around the school. Students can place their Backpacks in lockers or gifts for their friends for a special holiday or just extra shoes or outfits they need for later. lockers can give people the independence to take the stuff they need for classes. People can take the stuff they need for class and they need so they don’t have to carry everything they don’t need around all the stuff they don’t need. Some students can have heavy backpacks and need to put down the stuff they do not need for a class, you can store the materials you don't need and just take the materials you need for class.

Another example of why we need lockers is because having lockers can let people talk to their friends in passing time when they're by their lockers. Students can talk to their friends about group projects, missing work, or just any topic they can talk about while they are at their lockers putting their stuff away.   

        In addition to holding our things, TMS should have lockers because it can allow us to make more money. Firstly, the school can get more money for events and parties and other things that can come up in the year like field trips, pizza parties, prizes, and other activities for the year.

Secondly, the school can use that money for more lockers or maybe vending machines for kids or just to have that extra money to maybe expand the school to get a second floor for more students and places. Lockers can be expensive and too much but, the school can do fun raisers to get the money to buy the lockers,  the school can raise money by doing fun raisers like yearbooks, dances, valentines, and bake sales, when they get the lockers they can have kids rent out lockers to make money back so kids don’t have to carry all their things around the whole school.

Tumwata desperately needs lockers because kids are holding too much stuff around like backpacks, instruments, gifts, lunches, water, and bottles. If you are a student at Tumwata Middle School, go talk to the principal about why kids need lockers, lockers also bring profits to the school, and that's why kids need lockers at Tumwater Middle School.
