In 15 years, I see myself living a normal life. I’ll be 31, hopefully, married to a one-of-a-kind man… A husband for a best friend. I’ll have the standard full-time job: an office job where I sit at a computer forever.
I hope for two kids, and a nice home in the suburbs, with a spacious backyard. Our backyard will have room for anything, the tree leaves will move with the wind and the color of the grass will be as pretty as the swiss alps. Flowers would bloom and breathe around the edges of our lawn and then triumphantly die in the fall. In the summer, there should be a garden in the back, where I grow twiggy tomatoes, squishy squash, pretty peppers, charming cucumbers, and maybe some familiar fruits.
I’ll be like a standard mom, whatever that means. Play solitaire, cook food that my kids don’t like, fall asleep on the couch at 7 pm, bake cookies with my kids, do their laundry, take them out to school every morning, and play with them outside. I hope to drive a mom's car, either white or black.
I will have a pet or two. My husband and I will have to fight to either have dogs or cats, but I’m sure no matter what I’ll love whatever we choose. It won’t be everyone’s dream to live the way I most likely will, but I’ll be happy. One thing I will always strive for: Happiness. Happiness is not something you can just automatically have out of thin air, it’s how you take on situations and make them better. I hope for a life like this, one that I can make my own.
