100 Word Narrative
My mother always told me to play my cards wisely. No, not UNO cards, but your unique hand of cards- your unique traits- that were given to you. I didn’t really know what she meant, but playing a game of UNO illustrated it for me. Many good hands of cards went to waste, for their holder would not play them properly. Oftentimes, the good hands would not win. I realized that at the end of the day, having a good hand of cards alone didn’t win you the game. You had to win it yourself.

This was just a short lesson that my mother taught me, that I wanted to fit into 100 words or less.
