Family Eyes
Eyes show love, joy, sadness, surprise. My family’s eyes, are all blue. My Mother’s, my Father’s and my eyes. Not blue like navy blue, but blue like the caribbean in the summer. A piercing blue that you wouldn’t forget, even though only 8% of the population has blue eyes.
My father has denim-blue eyes. Eyes that are warm, eyes that twinkle with joy. Eyes that are creative, from building. Eyes that are tired from searching for a job. Eyes that have seen me grow up into the person I am. Eyes that love me.
My mother has eyes that sparkle like the winter ice, but mysteriously change to that of a green sea. Eyes that take one look and know all is not right. Eyes that have a protective watch. Eyes that have seen me grow up into the person I am. Eyes that love me.
That leads me to my eyes. My eyes can range from multiple blues. I have a warm piercing gunmetal silver eyes. Eyes that can be sparkling with life and laughter. Eyes that can be dull like a storm cloud, when I am upset. Eyes that come to life
