What Freedom Means to Me
The wind acts as a tornado. My hair swirls from the left, right, front, and back. The aroma of freshly cut grass drifts into my window. The radio hums, playing a familiar melody. The sun’s rays gently plant tiny kisses on my skin. With no destination or plans, the open road holds comfort.
The ability to have days like today makes me feel powerful. I have the opportunity to do whatever I please with my time and resources. Should I take a dive deep into the delicate pools at the nearby natural springs? Do I grab a scoop of gelato from our local shop? Or do I merely lay in the grass and absorb the vitamins from the sky above me?
There is a comfort in knowing that you have continual security, despite the terrible events happening in the world surrounding you. I am grateful for those who have sacrificed their lives to ensure I had contentment in mine.
