Girls Aren't Objects

Have you ever noticed, that the school dress code at your school, may only apply to girls?

Well, I have. The dress code basically says, " Girls are distracting and we must hide their bodies." The dress code is making girls feel ashamed of their bodies, it's THEIR bodies. For example, at a lot of schools, girls must not show their shoulders because they are "distracting". To who are they distracting? Boys, girls, teachers? If people think girls' shoulders are distracting, that is their problem. Girls should have the right to dress how they want, that is basic human rights. Every day, thousands of girls are feeling ashamed of their bodies, but the dress codes at some schools make it worse.
