popular people
You've seen them in tons of movies. In Mean girls for instance. They are said to rule school, have the coolest clothes, most friends. POPULAR PEOPLE. I think being popular is overrated. I don't really like the term. I'm cool with tons of people, but I wouldn't want to be called popular. They are shown as people who are cruel to others, and don't care about schoolwork much. That's not true though. I would define popular people as smart, kind people who have friends and aren't seen like they are in movies. People who see themselves as popular like in Mean girls well that's not really true. Popular people aren't stuck up in real life. I would say NERDS (awesome smart people who are cool) :) are more popular than stuck up people who try too hard to be cool.
