Our Place in the Sun
Throughout the entirety of Nina Curran's article, "Our Place in the Sun," her wide variety of figurative language and vivid imagery kept my attention up until the very last word. The author's use of dialogue was also a different strategy I hadn't seen in much of in many TeenInk articles I've read. I loved how the author referred to cardboard as a "chariot with its GPS set for the world beyond." It shows the author's imagination and wonderful imagery that intrigues your reader. Overall, this piece was well written and I'd love to read more writing pieces by Nina Curran.
