With Ink as My Voice
Reading the college essay “With Ink as My Voice” by Megan F., it was interesting for her to start the essay in the past as an eight year old at her grandparent’s house. It was interesting to see throughout the essay how a “quiet and shy” student slowly became more expressive with the help of a computer to help channel those thoughts and ideas bottled up inside. I loved that it felt like the audience was getting to know a part of Megan’s life from the age of eight until almost 18. What a wonderful piece of writing to express you journey of coming out of your shell!
