Zeina's Article
I found Zeina's acticle to very moving. People take school for granted these days in the U.S because of our free education system. In some other countries going to school is a blessing because how difficult it is sometimes to attend school. Some reasons that prevent your education is some countries might be that school may be too expensive to afford, you're a female and can't go, or in this article's case, being bombed while going to shcool in a warzone. Zeina describes in graphic detail of the chaos and panic of the bomb that was going while in school in Syria. Sounds of explosions and bullets whistling pass her created an environment of anxiety and uncontrollable fear. Zeina was so scared that she forgot that her brother was following her, mistaking him for a hostile soldier. This acticle makes readers feel fortunite for going to school in America. A thank you to Zeina for sharing her experience with us.
