Review of "Is Marching Band a Sport?"
The writing titled “Is marching band a sport?” written by Avery J., was inspiring. Her writing about marching band, and it left me feeling happy. Marching band is a sport. When in marching band, we have hours and hours of practice for a twelve-minute show. I am in marching band, and take my word for it, we have to work at it on our own time because if we get off step we will mess everyone behind you up. She writes, ”As for agility, most marching bands shows include visuals, these require versatility of motion, such as dancing, running, or moving the instrument in a specific way.” This shows what we do. She also says, “A typical game day for a marching band runs from seven to midnight.” Marching band is a sport because we have to work at everything you do and we get our physical activity in for the day.
