Feedback on "Buzz Off"
“Buzz Off” is a story written by Jenna Mather. It is a short story located in the summer spotlight section of the magazine. This story is about Jenna, who is outside with her parents during a barbeque and she suddenly notices a bee. That bee kept flying around in circles, as it came and went for food. This story portrays the summer spirit that will almost be buried by winter’s snow.
I found this story to be quite entertaining and very relatable. Jenna dad says “These are the real experiences, Jenna. Getting outside, hiking, seeing the wild. Not just sitting on the bed looking at a phone or watching TV all summer.” That quote seems like an exact thing that would come out of my own dad’s mouth. The rest of the story was a quick and enjoyable read.
