A Trump America
Julie Ojaiis, a woman of color makes a strong point of how America may be changed forever. Her family immigrated here, to America, 40 years ago. Her family has done so much for America and has lived here peacefully for many years just to find out her family may be kicked out. Julie comes from a family who has worked as "professors, nurses, engineers, travelers, and warriors". Every day now she has woken up knowing that she is not wanted and her families home may be taken away from them very quickly. I love the sentence "It's hard enough to see your own blood spilled in another's body and to be expected to smile and continue like nothing has occured." I feel that every family thatmay be concidered "different" should continue to stay where they are. Many things have happened and many things will continue to happen since the election but we can always hp for the best.
