Political Mood Swings
I agree with the author of "Political Mood Swings" that "a general dissatisfaction causes a shift in the national mood." One example of this is the presidencies of George W. Bush and Barack Obama. Before Obama was President, many people were unhappy with George Bush's presidency and wanted a more liberal president, hence the presidency of Barack Obama. However now that another presidential election is around the corner, people are unhappy with the many socialist policies implemented by Obama which have allowed conservative capitalist like Donald Trump gain momentum for the upcoming election.
