A Stupid Mistake
"A Stupid Mistake" by Samantha Harmon was about Samantha's experience in a car accident with a drunk driver. This piece in particular stood out to me, because I really loved how Samantha put us readers into her story. Her dialogue seemed so realistic, I could I almost hear it in my head as I read along. Her descriptions were very detailed- I could almost picture the car crash scene in my head.
I also really liked the ending; Samantha's piece wasn't just a memory, it was a lesson she had taught herself, and one she was willing to share with others. Her lesson warns others to take care of themselves and to always be safe. Overall, I really liked "A Stupid Mistake" and I hope to read more submissions from Samantha.
