Feedback on A Stupid Mistake
“A Stupid Mistake” by Samantha Harmon was a memoir about the night she got into a car accident with a former boyfriend who was under the influence of alcohol. The piece explained the events that took place and teaches the importance of the actions you take and the consequences that could come from them.
In a few paragraphs this memoir taught me an extremely valuable life lesson. The line that stood out most to me was “then one night I realized that one bad choice, one mistake, can change your life.” This emphasizes how much thought needs to be put into our choices because there’s a high chance if you act on an impulse, you’ll regret it. Overall, the memoir shows how valuable life is and how much care it should be dealt with.
