Tyranny Review
In “The Tyranny of Education” by Beth, she explains how she wishes that her weekends were meant to be for fun and relaxation. Instead, she is stuck at home, and doing math problems and writing essays are consuming her time.
This story, to me, seems to be an anthem of all high school students today. We spend seven hours every day of the week Monday through Friday doing schoolwork. The two days that we are given to ourselves is a break from drama and stress. All we want as students is to have two days out of our busy, stressful school week to do nothing but relax, have fun, and spend time with friends.
