I Believe in Rain
The article " I Believe in Rain" by Abbey Spivey gave me great pleasure. Living Pheonix Arizona rain is seldom seen, and any drop of water that falls from the sky is a gift from God. When thunder caped storm clouds can be seen on the horizon of the dusty Arizona sky, and the smell of rain is carried on the wind, my heart is over filled with joy.
Abbey, you stated, "Something as small as precipitation reminded me that we do not need big things to create happiness". I truly believe in this statment, you would be suprised how happy a simple shower of rain can make people hear in the desert. Also, it's not just the people hear that eagerly wait for the rain to come, the desert plants and animals spring to life as soon as a drop of water hits the ground. The dry Sanoran Desert becomes a lush paradise, it is really quite a sight to see. I thank you Abbey for acknowledging just how precious rain can be.
