I Hate Truth or Dare
I think we all know the feeling lonelines. Orat least our idea of loneliness. It may be that we feel left out or just unwanted. We all want to fit in at one point or another. That's exactly what Nathalie Chicoine feels in "I Hate Truth or Dare." She dreaded the question, "Who do you like?" She hated it because she wasn't crushing on anyone. She was pressured by her friends but knew that she didn't need to like anyone.
I can relate to this piece because I don't really like sharing with anyone. I like to keep to myself and I think that should be okay. Not everyone likes to spill all their secrets. I am my own person and I don't need another person to carry me through life. According to the article,"I know that having a crush isn't important. Accepting yourself is." This author beautifully demonstrates that you should be your own person.
