Sausage Wars
In the article “Sausage Wars”, the author describes the grueling task of making sausages with his family each Christmas. It describes how the frigid meat makes their hands numb and how the pungent onions make their eyes water. I found this article funny because I know how it feels to be cutting onions and having my hands and forearms covered in raw meat. This article reminds me of cooking and preparing meals with my family all throughout the year and how it can be messy, smelly, and chilly. I agree with the author, the reward of getting to eat the food that took forever to prepare is well worth the suffering.
