The Power of the Teenage Girl
In “The Power of the Teenage Girl” by Dana K, it relates to the harshness teenage girls get now a days. It tells the reader all the things that these girls are being criticized for, even though teenage girls tend to do good things that go unnoticed. In the article Dana states, “We will offer each other sips of anything we’re drinking, no questions asked. We share our food and our clothes . . . We give our friends make-overs and back rubs and hairdos.” This is just some of the little things that girls do for other girls, yes, we may gossip and take endless amounts of selfies but when it comes to helping out each other, we do it. I agree with Dana when she says that teenage girls are powerful, because I believe we are, no matter what others want to say about it.

sometimes you get run down. sometimes life throws dirt in your eyes and it stings and you can't see for a few minutes. even after you get it out your eyes are all red and your vision is s***ty... but eventually, whether through tears or maybe just time... you start to see even clearer than before. life is not always good. which is why music exists. why i believe God exists. and why there's always a pint of coconut milk ice cream in my freezer.
