Feedback on "Ashamed To Be Americans?"
I respect the opinion of the author of this piece, but I disagree. While people often are too quick to hate America, America does have some serious flaws. The claims of America's justice system being racist as you said are not unfounded. Our country has obviously progressed a long way since segregation, but racism is still a problem in the U.S..
I agree that patriotism is important and America is far better than pretty much any other country. However, there are cerainly problems with America (speficlly racism as previously mentioned) that need to be solved. We have a great jsutice system in comparison to the rest of the world and our country 50 years ago, but it is still far from completly fair.
