A Potter Obsession
When “The boy who lived” was introduced to the world people immediately fell in love and Brooke Solich’s “A Potter Obsession” depicts that perfectly. Solich describes the effect Rowlings compelling novel had on her life and the affection most people have over the thrilling novel Harry Potter. Solich reminds us that “Harry Potter has come to epitomize all that I believe” which is incredibly truthful to millions of young adults around the world. The author illustrates how much value people have had over Harry Potter. I can relate as I have experienced the exact same love over the series. I enjoyed Solichs essay mainly because I felt justified for my obsession of Harry Potter. Harry Potter has also inspired me and driven me to do many admirable things. Thank you Brooke Solich for helping me accept my obsession.
