Life Is Not a Movie
I think “Life Is Not a Movie” by William B. is a smack in the face by reality. So many people looking for relationships have unrealistic expectations of what they expect from a relationship/boyfriend or girlfriend, and it’s only hurting themselves. As the author says, “Movies are brief sessions of fiction created to help us escape from reality, but they influence us more that we think”. I think sometimes we forget that life is not a movie, and expecting too much out of a situation can be a real disappointment. Instead of searching for a relationship like the movies, we should set our own standards for a happy relationship.
