Elictric Chair
The story “Electric Chair” was a very moving story. The another did a very good job writing this story. As I read this story I could imagine all the thing that happened to this person really did happen. It shows a darker time in our country’s history. In the story the author wrote, “The police screamed until their faces turned red, said I killed them two with girls. But I knew my place.” This was a very moving quote because they where accusing him because of his skin color.
I could relate to “Electric Chair” because I think that desegregation was a horrible thing. It is to even think that people would think differently of a person because of the skin color. This is like the saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover” so why did we judge people because of the color. This story made me think of our past and how we would treat people this way.
