Feedback on Why I Hated "The Fault in Our Stars"
I am so glad that I read "Why I Hated 'The Fault in Our Stars" By Emily Garber
In this piece Emily says how she disliked the extremely popular book "The Fault in Our Stars". She says that because she experienced loss from cancer in her own life she didn't sob at the part of the book where (spoiler alert to those living under rocks) Augustus Waters dies like the other masses of girls her age. I can relate to this as well because I was one of the only people I know that was not greatly moved by the story.
Now let me say TFiOS is a pretty good book, but in my opinion nothing more. I am someone who has experienced a reasonable amount of loss. However I'll reiterate as Emily Garber said " the book was good. Not amazing, but good." So once again thanks Emily I now know I am not alone.
