Rules for NYC Tourists
“Rules for NYC Toursits” by Cyd S. is a great article. Cyd sacks describes New York very well to what it’s known for. New York is very well known for its tourists that travel there every single day. This article is written in a sarcastic yet realistic way of a typical tourist in NYC. Many common things you will see from a tourist in New York would be one simply walking down the block until something catches their eye. Before you know it there is a human collision because of the quick stop that the tourist suddenly made. The sarcasm comes in where Cyd mentions that “the pedestrian’s earbuds get yanked out and files, books, and any laptops get spilled gracefully onto the sidewalk. New Yorkers just love having the contents of their bags spread out on the cement.”
