Educate, Don't Incarcerate
Just after reading the first paragraph of "Educate, Don't Incarcerate" by Cooper Kelley, my jaw dropped open. This well written piece about how our country spends more money on incarceration than education is absolutely stunning and shocking.
Kelley has won me over in believing and understanding the situation with accurate evidence and details that are provided. The call-to-action should motivate everyone who reads this article to do something to change the awful circumstance we are in. Our country should be ashamed of these statistics and do its best to correct them to something better.
