Poem for the World
O. McKay's "Poem for the World" deserves a round of applause. To me the poem says how powerful the world is and how insignificant we are. The world can simply sneeze and blow us away, "then crushes us with her stiletto as if we were expandable cockroaches crunch!" we as humans think of ourselves as being superior to others we not only harm ourselves, but we also harm others and also harm our world. As time goes by we damage our world more and more, but we forget that our world can react and crush us with just a sneeze.
