The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey by Lavinia Liang
Lavinia Liang's article was almost completely accurate in my opinion. Liang manages to show both sides of how audiences and critics view the film. I too having seen the film and read the novel agree that the film becomes an interesting comparison to the novel. The film gives a similar plot but has its twists and turns which keeps the story fresh and entertaining, with its tie ins to the Lord of Rings. I also agreed with the authors comment about the special effects and too thought they should have used more practical effects than the over used computer graphics.
