My Last Visit
After reading "My Last Visit" by Kari, a plethora of my own emotions were brought up to play. Throughout the story, Kari expresses her negative connotation toward the prison system in Arizona. Having visited a family member in an Arizona county jail several times, most of Kari's expressions coexist with my own. The feeling the jail system provides you with is one of absolute atrocity. Most of the guards treat you with no human regard. I can only imagine its ten times worse for the inmates. This story peaked my interest because it gave me the satisfaction of knowing someone else shares the same feelings, so thank you Kari, your story truly did hinder my thoughts
